The Forge Fuel stokes the flames of the high performance, controllable Forge line. Every serious bowler needs a ball they can trust when there's a lot of oil in front of them. The problem is that most heavy oil solids force you to choose between control and continuation. You either get a ball that reads early and quits, or one that pushes too far before it sees the lane. The Forge Fuel changes that.
Built on the proven Forge platform, the Forge Fuel is designed to handle aggressive surface adjustments without sacrificing down lane continuation. Right out of the box, the 1000-grit Leverage™ MXT coverstock with Duramax® technology digs into heavy oil volumes for incredible control. As you adjust the surface to match changing lane conditions, it continues through the pins far better than a Forge Flare or Subzero Forge at the same finish. This versatility means that one ball can cover more situations, giving competitive bowlers fewer compromises and more confidence.
Detonator Symmetrical Core
The proved Detonator core powers the Forge Fuel. This powerful engine features a low RG that gets the ball revving early enough to read in heavy oil and a high differential that creates the flare and traction needed to keep it driving through the pocket. The result is a motion that's strong, predictable, and incredibly stable when lane conditions get demanding.

Leverage MXT Solid Reactive
The biggest upgrade you will find comes from the new Leverage MXT solid reactive coverstock. Engineered to create more responsive than the Leverage MXC cover used on the Subzero Forge, this cover still provides bowlers the traction they expect from a true heavy-oil solid.
This new cover features Duramax technology built into the cover, helping it to maintain its surface longer, smooth out transition, and create consistent traction shot after shot. The end result is exactly what competitive bowlers have been asking for: the confidence and mid lane control of the Subzero Forge with noticeably more continuation through the pins.
