Radical Evil Eye Bowling Ball

Radical is very excited to announce two new launches. The Evil Eye, which is a new addition to the Super Symmetrical lineup and the most requested series to reintroduce, the Intel, is now renamed the Intel Recon. The Evil Eye features an all-new core shape, and the Intel Recon features the very popular original Intel core.

The Evil Eye has core numbers of 2.495 and a 0.046 total differential, but its unique feature is in the after-drilling numbers. Due to its distinctive core shape and protrusions, the Evil Eye offers the largest range in the intermediate differential of any symmetrical ball ever made. It features an intermediate drilling range from 0.009 to 0.023, allowing the driller to leave it as a symmetrical ball or modify it with an asymmetrical drilling for the customer. This black beauty uses the new HK22C Solid cover finished with 500, 1500 Siaair, making it capable of hooking and handling a significant amount of oil.

My favorite ball and one of Radical’s best-selling balls ever was the Intel. Of all the balls requested to be brought back, the Intel leads the way. Our goal was to replicate the motion of the original Intel but upgrade the cover with modern chemistry. The Intel Recon hit our performance target. It was just three boards stronger than the original Intel, maintaining the same beloved ball motion. The Intel Recon core has an RG of 2.483 and a total differential of 0.032, the same as the original Intel. We wrapped the Intel Recon with the original HK22 pearl cover to keep the motion as close to the original Intel as possible. Finished with 500, 1000, 1500 Siaair and Factory Compound gave us the ideal benchmark motion we were aiming for.

With our new ball launches, we are featuring new drilling instructions offering a wide variety of ball motion with “no balance hole” options so that bowlers can make a smoother transition into the new ball specifications. Again, this is just another example of why Radical is quickly becoming a leader in bowling ball technology. We call it the #RadicalRevolution.
